That Killing Moon Audi ad created a bit of a buzz in the US, I've seen many references to it online and on Sirius they were talking about Mac's tour dates and new album after playing Killing Moon on 1st Wave. They specifically mentioned the LA show. This is probably the most I've heard about the Bunnymen in the US since Evergreen.
