If Pete were still alive today, do you think anything would be different? Do you think he'd be like Les and have departed ways years ago? Would he be nothing more that a hired hand plugging away in the background like Nick? Would the Bunnymen have gotten back together again long ago, touring stadiums while Bono and U2 were relegated to a life of touring small venues and off-beat festivals? Or would it have all turned out the same? What if, what if, what if…

In any case, no one deserves to die so young.

He seemed to be tiring of Ian in interviews I've seen from the mid 80s.

I bet he would have quit.

He would have been long gone, like Les and like Will should be if he had any balls.
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

they would now be like Yes with two interchanging lineups depending on whoever was in town or could be bothered turning up. Fanboys and girls would be in a constant state of frenzy wondering if they'd get THE lineup, and going home disappointed when they got the one with no original members. U2 would still be massive - its not as if there was a point when it was one band or the other, they have always been on different trajectories. Buns would still be a greatest hits band, but without any hits, obviously. Pete being a posh bloke with a posh education would, while still indulging in the odd bit of pharmaceutical recreation, probably have a number of totally legitimate businesses that allowed him to indulge his old chums by touring with their pop group when the mood took him. He would have known about the top ways to pay less tax without risking all your merch with some dodgy american bloke, as nice as he may seem, and certainly advised against using his paypal account. He would have probably had one of his own. He would have probably written the definitive bunnymen biog, or would that have been - DeFinitive (see what I did there?). And the pub quiz team comprising three bunnymen would rule the north west circuit. Oh and perhaps there would be a mac-less spinoff called 'the bunnymen three', using a disembodied robot voice as the singer.

Can you imagine Jimbo and DAve Smith if there were two competing Bunnymen tribute bands touring? They would virtually be nomadic.

'nomadics', is that a term for men who are hooked on sex with dwarves?

Wow, this was the very end. Mac left the band on the return from this short Japanese tour.
