We do not SIT at gigs, esp. EATB! Once again, glad that it was a golden night!

suave harv wrote:I was there, I thought it was great. I'm not a great fan of the first two albums, I think they hit their stride with the third, but I very much enjoyed the gig. The sound was good, the room was almost full (upper balcony closed) and quite a few moshing.
I liked the encores best. . (sacrelidge, I know! but it's only my third Bunnymen gig and I likes the hits.)
Lips Like Sugar
Dancing Horses
Nothing Lasts Forever ("here's a classic. . it's saved someone's life!")
Killing Moon
The Cutter
Sung a bit of Beatles during Nothing Lasts Forever as I recall. Elvis' 'Suspicion' was played before they went on. I thought that was cool.
No heating, no draught beer, just overpriced cans. No running water in the toilets to wash your hands, and no soap anyway even if there was. Welcome to Liverpool, eh?
Very good concert though. The lighting was a bit silly (oh look, aren't they mysterious. . ) but the music was spot on, that's what mattered. [/s]
