Veteran band could easily be called Ego & the Bunnymen

General discussion about the band, live shows, its recordings or bootlegs, etc. You can buy, sell or trade here. You can even post eBay links. If it's about the Bunnymen, it goes here.

That is why this is so funny. They are talking about this in interviews and Twittering about it like they are the first.

Reminds me of some fast food commercial where the guy thinks the counter girl is hooking him up with dollar menu deals because she likes him. (Except that commercial isn't funny.)

A blog I like to frequent has a photo of Flea from The Red Hot Chili Peppers getting some swag from Levi. Here's the comment:

I never thought I would see Flea shilling for the man in a swag booth.

Maybe this is the first time they've ever gotten any swag. That's why they're acting like they're so special. GAD!

That is even more depressing if it is the first time. Hasn't this been going on for at least a decade?
Guys - you're scraping the barrel.

Does he really think it's becoming to spout off like this? It's all so transparent.

Has he ever publicly referred to himself as a rock star? If not, I bet that's next. Truly the kiss of death.

At least he's not boring in an interview,
and not pretentious enough to pretend he doesn't have an ego.
Nothing's more sick-making than that false humlilty you often hear from
these performers. They all have huge egos; at least he's funny about it and
actually right, most of the time.

Management referred to him in some video as the last 24 hour rock star.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Mac, now that they've played Coachella. Not sure how much a band gets for that, but it ought to be enough to keep lil' [s]Daisy Mae [/s] Dusty Mae in diapers for months.

It's free advertising and a writeoff for the companies to run a house at Coachella, have some celebs drop by and give some stuff away. Costs less to give swag out to Kristen Stewart at the Prada Party or Express Party than it is for them to put an ad on the tele. That's the real reason why they do it.

If Flea wears Levis, people buy Levis. If Paris Hilton wears Prada, people wear Prada.
I long for the pork of Porcupine. (A slide show dedicated mostly to Will right here.... http://www.examiner.com/rock-music-in-l ... -here-tour)

Hmm. What about Pete Doherty? He certainly lives the lifestyle around the
clock, i.e. does loadsa drugs.
