In 2038, all that will be left of Ian McCulloch to perform will be his disembodied head in a jar (think Nixon in Futurama).guitarplayer on here too wrote:Les will play live on stage during the Bunnymen's 60th anniversary tour, due in the year of our lord 2038. The one-off event will coincide with the release of a limited edition CD called, "Yet More Bloody Songs to Learn and Sing" and a free holographic projection of the legendary Ocean Rain performance, in its full entirety with a full orchestra, that was performed at the Big G Arena (affectionally known locally as The Bucket) in 2022.

50 doesn't have to be the end. Morrissey is still rocking and he likes show tunes.
I guess Mac really wants to be the Sinatra/Dean lounge singer/crooner. I want rockin' Mac.

Voodoo Billy wrote:I went to see Morrissey in 2006 in a pretty intimate venue compared to most places he plays these days (audience around the 1000 mark) and thought he was just about okay. Mac at Zelig's in April this year was way better. Morrissey played what you'd expect him to play, no real surprises, whereas Ian does take risks (Prettiest Star, Somewhere (!), Angles and Devils which isn't a Bunnymen regular and Waiting for the Man which was great). Okay, he might not move like he used to but he still has that something when he walks onstage.
