Apparently not or you wouldn't be asking dumb questions about boring ass songs at VT.

By that logic, NO questions would be asked on VT because Wikipedia is there. I consider VT to be the place to go for this particular subject matter, although I familiarized myself with what Wikipedia had to say regards the movie soundtrack after it was suggested that it was the compilation that the song was created for.

So is the following statement true?

"During the classic Bunnymen era (Crocs thru Grey) all published original Bunnymen compositions are either album tracks, or b-sides, EXCEPT for Bring on the Dancing Horses."

It's actually one of my favorite Bunnymen songs, love the bass riff and drums during the chorus. The extended mix might be even better.

I always thought it was simply a single the band released. What am I missing? It was for Songs To Learn and Sing? But it was still a single. Came with 2 B-sides and everything, one of which was pretty awesome.

It's too bad the band couldn't keep recording stuff at that time to release a new LP.

No. Unless I am misunderstanding the stetment, Never Stop was a non-album track single too. It only appeared in various single forms and then STLAS just like Dancing Horses.

Yep. The sound is almost identical. I haven't heard much of Latham's work beyond The Stranglers and The Bunnymen, but I assume he was a bit like Stock Aitken and Waterman were later to pop music or Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis were to black soul music. ie. all the songs and production sound identical.
