Dunno what the story is. I just know they're not part of a big management firm. That shit wouldn't fly with a big company.black francis wrote:Were they a couple of fans willing to do the job for free or something?

Les left apparently due to a combination of just having lost his mother and a messy divorce/custody case, they were all working in different rooms and MAc had writen all the songs so royalty wise it was looking a bit grim for the boys in the band. Thats still a better album - productionwise - than Siberia I'd say even though I dont like about a third of it. Siberia still comes across as loads of bits and pieces sewn together and no reall ygood songs.

They promised me and a friend a Back Stage tour and pass for the Echo Arena (Ocean Rain Gig). I turned up and they failed to deliver and made some excuse that they were too busy.
They then promised me and a friend a tour of Parr Street Recording Studios (Liverpool) including a look at all the gold disc’s and other memorabilia. I turned up and they failed to deliver and were’nt even there but had left my stuff at reception.
As a thank you they gave me a t shirt and a couple of greatest hits CD’s and a mug. Nice token but I already had them.
They had my Photos for four months and promised to return them every time I asked for them back, and also said that Mac and Will would sign some for me.
Eventually I had to pick them up myself when I went to Liverpool to se Mac’s solo in March. Guess ,what no signed Photos.
So I went to the sound check, where the management said that Mac was in a bad mood and not to hassle him. On the contrary Mac saw me said hello and asked how it was going and then signed half a dozen photos for me and some other people NO PROBLEM
It’s the Management in my opinion that fail the new bunnymen
