Are the Bunnymen still a great group? Discuss...

Are we here because the Bunnymen were a magnificent band in the 80s and we still love them for that? I have concerns about the damage done to Mac's voice from years of smoking, drinking, etc.

That said, Electrafixion were ace and I do hope that they can prove me wrong with the new album. What do you think?

P.S. I'm not dissing them, I think they are still seriously talented, but have they lost that youthful fire?

Despite hoping otherwise I know the new album will be another mid-tempo dad-rock plodder with at least one crap ballad thrown in to showcase Mac's (non) "croon".

I haven't felt this rebellious for likng a band since getting into the Bunnymen in junior high.
