I impressed her with my knowledege of all things wierd and useless that she fell for me and she is now my wife ( or maybe it was because I was in band) .. ( she looks a lot like Veronica Lake -- obviously not Veronica Lake now as then she would be in an urn of ashes but a young Veronica Lake

So I learned to supress my outbursts to those only close to me....
It was obvious at school that those who were fools, sporty or gombeens where the best favoured..
It did not bother me in the slightest but I kept geekiness to a minimum to avoid a bashing
Until third year in secondary school where I learnt the art of making a fool look more of a fool, riduculing the guys who only spoke about sport (mainly achieved by talking to the girls and getting them to talk back) and letting the gombeen know that in this world they would find their true place in the pecking order and also winning in quizzes.....
One of my best friends in an uber science geek and he is the most sucessful guys I know
