General discussion about the band, live shows, its recordings or bootlegs, etc. You can buy, sell or trade here. You can even post eBay links. If it's about the Bunnymen, it goes here.

Although the Liverpool Echo Arena isnt all that big there arent many acts that have managed to sell it out - including Elton John (although that is two nights). In fact the only sell outs so far are Roger Waters and Michael Buble.

The Mighty Boosh have sold out their first night.......and their second night has only the back few rows left. Unbelievable but true.

What's the Echo Arena like?
Just wondering if it's as really as cold and impersonal as it looks from the photos.

If the Bunnymen use an orchestra and properly promote the gig I can see 10,000 in attendance in Los Angeles. If they limit the orchestra to a select few gigs it will enhance the feeling of a one time only shindig for the resident fans and might awaken something in the members of the general populace.

I love the Hollywood Bowl. Last time when we went to a Vivaldi concert it was so much fun pretending to be foo-foo. We had some decent wine and one of our friends made sushi.

Nice break from Modelo can and churros eh Jack?

At that time of year, and I've stayed at the Holiday inn Express at the Dock a fair few times, the only view you get is it pissing down with rain and loads of pissed up scouse blokes loitering about the nightclubs outside trying to flag a taxi!

You've earned that right Mr. Smith. You tell those young receptionists you need the porn right away then tell them you're finished just to show you don't give a damn.

That would be the thing to do. And heavily promote it. If fans are willing to fly to London to see them at the RAH, who's to say they wouldn't be willing to fly to L.A. to see them at the Bowl or Radio City Music Hall in NYC, etc. It could work. And you would get the regular Phil subscribers coming too.

Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.
