well its not obligatory is it? Just not seen it elsewhere. Perhaps it IS an april fools joke, ha ha, perhaps I've just been outed as THE mole who passes on information to the darkside.
But if you feel so bad you could parcel up all fifteen versions of the killing moon you own and send them to Mr I McCulloch, C/o The Fat Bloke, Parr Street Studios, LIverpool (city of culture), England, Europe, The World etc, with a note to say you've heard it just once too often to be able to house these relics any longer. Anyway, its spring time and nothing, not even another letter from the CSA is going to spoil my day. Oh, no,on the most miserable whinging forum in the world I've just issued a challenge for someone to spoil my day haven't I? Oh well. karma nad all that.

or perhaps you weren't being sarcastic. I apologise. Its like that story isn't it? The boy who cried, 'oh no. I don't like my favourite band anymore' just once too often for the fan boys and girls to take any notice and found himself devoid of sixteen versions (and counting) of the same song for the first time in as many years. Cast adrift on a sea of OMD greatest hits albums pining for a new realease from the Basildon Bleeps and Farts Brigade and staring at the stars with a lonely tear in his eye......

According to the radio show, it will take place on 27 November 2008 and will be a repeat of the RAH Ocean Rain gig. They also plan to take it worldwide, including New York.

Theres 10,000 gullible fools between the two websites. Smiffy is good for four, three of which he will try and sell outside at face value and end up giving away.

Yes, Ian said Radio City Music Hall. My guess is sometime between Sep 16 (kickoff in London) and Nov 27 (wrap it up in Liverpool).

He also said they plan to do 1.5 hours of regular show (including new material) and then come back and perform Ocean Rain. I'm not sure which show he was talking about there. RAH, Liverpool, all of them?

So he's got about 5 months to build up his stamina and expand his lung capacity in order to pull off a 2-3 hour show. Here's hoping.
