From reading some of the posts on here I get that the problem is with Mac. I agree. The future fate of the whole band depends on him. Mac's voice and what mood he's in determine what kind of show it will be. It's always like Russian Roulette. I was at the LA show with BF and I felt the same way about his mood.
My two suggestions are that maybe he needs to lip sync from now on and find a new Ilovesausages because too much of that stuff can make you pretty irritable. :eek:

I guess this thread http://forum.villiersterrace.com/viewtopic.php?t=425 in relation to, can you exactly afford it all b/c of RAH & other circumstances in life, come to play, doesn't it?

Or....how DEDICATED (and rich) of a fan are you? I know this sounds very negative & this I'm sorry if it comes across that way but, intentionally, it really comes down to the almighty dollar (or pound or whatever you have) in relation to if you can do both gigs.

Let's hope maybe, they have some sort of deal or they spread them out apart therefore, people can work hard &/or save-up for it all.

It would be a real sad shame a lot of people who've been there through it all couldn't come b/c of finances lacking.....

We should all express in a letter or something maybe, how we would all enjoy and would really, really try to come if the gig institutionalized Will's Glide project as a major HIGHLIGHT of the evening....never will happen in a million years though, obviously.

I agree 100%, Will's clearly got it in him if his Glide stuff is anything to go by, he just needs to have the balls to get a grip of Mac and tell him this is how it's going to be or you're on your own.

It'll never happen in a million years though.

Nah, he's spent too long being Mac's guitar monkey I reckon, he's well under his thumb. Maybe if Les were still onboard things would be different. However he aint and they aren't.

Statstically speaking....how good of a percentage do you rate Les might show up to play at this 30th gig or the RAH?

PS: As for the balls comment, it seems a lot of people agree...it's sad though, isn't it?

When's the gig in Aberdeen?

Seriously-when has Mac ever really sang in tune live?In the 80's,90's,00's?He's a frontman,not a note perfect robot.What narks me are the increasingly frequent zombie type performances which are obviously a tribute to the writer of the same name.But ask me if I'm looking forward to the OR gigs and the answer is yes.Because I know hwoever indifferent it maybe,they'll be at least one moment when they rise above the rest of the crap and remind everyone how great they are/were.Thats worth £50 in itself anyday of the week.

I'm going with the hope that they will lay on the works. Acoustic guitars, drummer playing more than drums, Will using a different guitar, large orchestra doing the strings. I will be quite a way away from the stage, so I'll have to squint, so the faces on the stage will be blurred. And then I may even take my MP3 player with me, with the original Ocean Rain on in the background just to "aid" the experience, to make me think it is 1984. It'll be like Ashes to Ashes.

Sorry I gotta get this out my system. I think stormy weather has a YMCA tome to it!

I like the track - Mac's head in clouds is way over the top though.

See, this is why it also doesn't matter how much Peter puts into the other forum to improve it or not because when you come down to it, it's all on Mac, who by the way must walking around with a giant pair because he doesn't seem to give a sh*t.

Didn't Gahan try to kill himself? He wasn't successful like MH.
