Anybody ever tried one of those Elvis specials? If you're going to blow a week's worth of calories at one sitting, I'd rather it be on an onion blossom than one of those Elvis fried concoctions any day

Was it done by Reese's for some kind of Elvis anniversary?

My daughter makes fried banana, pb and honey sandwiches the way a grilled cheese is made. It's DISGUSTING! But my grandmother's version was more disgusting because she liked when the bananas were extremely ripe (black on the outside)

I like your Peeps avatar, Zabird and the other Peeps post. I saw today that a Peeps Diorama contest was held and someone used them to portray the Larry Craig bathroom scene!

Bananas, ripe, unripe, half ripe, fried, deep fried, sugared, toasted, boiled, roasted or prepared in any other way have got to be THE most disgusting PLANT humans have yet thought to treat as food!! :vomit:

PS. thanks for pointing out where the puking emoticon was, Brian.

I've always wanted to do one of those Elvis peanut butter, jam, bacon sandwiches.

Fool's Gold

-One entire loaf of italian bread is coated with two tablespoons of softened butter.
-The bread is placed in a 350 degree (F) oven for approximately fifteen minutes or until loaf is browned.
-The loaf is then halved along its length on one side.
-The soft inside of the loaf is scraped away to allow room for the filling.
-One whole jar of creamy peanut butter, one jar of grape jelly, and a pound of lean bacon, fried crispy and still warm, are layered inside the loaf.

Apparently it's quite good.
Here's the taste test.....

The Washington Post held such a contest, with some amazing results:

The bananas come all the way from China, so we've gone full circle.

I gotta admit, I do love me some Chinese Elvis.

Moses 2,

Travelling for business is the best. Take advantage of any free stuff...or upgrades that your place of employment is forking the bill for.... :)

I hope you have a great time!

Per diems rule
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I know I talk to myself - when I see Kook's picture it reminds me of MH! I am reliably informed that Kook is of the female gender?

No offence meant or intended - just an observation.

I must be a littlle less cryptic Miss.
