Echo & The Bunnymen will be announcing a very special live show in Liverpool very soon to mark the 30TH anniversary of the band.

As at the sold out Albert Hall show they will be performing the classic album Ocean Rain in full.

At the moment the venue is top secret but all will be revealed soon...

Why does everything have to be in England all the time? If they love it so much maybe they should just move there.

I'll support whatever decision you make.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

A "very special live show in Liverpool"?

Sounds like an ad for an 80's sitcom -
on a very special "Who's The Boss"...
on a very special "Blossom"...

At a very special live show in Liverpool, Ian learns his lesson about drugs, smoking and phoning in the same setlist year after year...

A script excerpt:

Nancy Reagan: Ian, you have to Just Say No to your bad habits, and dig down deep inside. Remember what it's like to rock. Give the fans - your fans - what they deserve.

Ian McCulloch: Wha-choo talkin bout, Mrs. Reagan?

I caught something else from the urinal but nothing anti-biotics didn't clear up.

I was booking a club in about '93 and one of the outside promoters came to me to book a band called Love Spit Love which I learned was Richard Butler's new band. I was very excited at the idea of this and wanted to impress the outside promoters so I conveyed to the owner that this could lead to more shows like this.

We were really looking for things like buying name brand stuff for the concert rider and giving the band a proper place to hang out before and after the show and stuff like that. We laughed because the owner bought those urine deodorant cakes for the urinals which had never been there before. After that whenever we noticed he bought more we would joke that Richard Butler must be coming.

See, even I can derail a thread. I'm learning.
