What about gnomes?

I've never been much into sci-fi. That said, I did get hooked on Enterprise and Firefly, and The X-Files, of course. And some sci-fi movies, like Blade Runner. Now archaeology, that's more my speed

Last year, the Buzzcocks' HQ did a poll and one of the questions was whether you were a fan of Star Trek too. I don't know what they were implying by that

BTW, the band folk at both my high schools and university were heavy-duty partiers. Same with the Model United Nations crowd

Don't know if I was considered a nerd in school ( I was probably close to it) but I bet Bill Gates was and Warren buffet (look at that fucker now)

and there's nothing wrong with sci-fi-dorks who play D&D! my husband played back in junior high  and btw, he just recently picked up a lot of the chronicles of thomas covenant books on ebay - to replace old paperbacks he lost.

i'm a trekkie. i'm a sci-fi nerd. i collect bunnymen stuff and cute japanese toys and comic books. i won't even get into the harry potter obsession.

i'm proud to be a nerd. what's wrong with that?

maybe this falls under the category of "americans are weird"

Hey you conveniently left out how you play WoW.

Since when does being a 15th level Elven Mage make one a nerd?

A doppleganger spell would take so little energy and result in a clean place! Immunity to electricity would save a fortune on rewiring the house!
And immunity to cold?!?!!? No heating bills!

And an awaken spell? No need for coffee in the morning!
