Not that I wish him anything but a speedy recovery but despite owning one album they always came across as a bit of a comedy band to me (says a man with 6 or 7 Quo albums). Was it them that became love and rockets when he started advertising tape? OO, I'm tempted to go and get that out and play it. see if time has made me warm to them, it does that occasionally.

Quo comedy ? Didn't Will rave about seeing them with Slade in the early 70's ? Some say a great live band but went downhill mid to late 70's IMO

Saw them (Bauhaus) again last year at Brixton and they were sensational. It pains me to say it but they were so much better than The Bunnymen earlier in the year. It’s unfortunate that everything went sour (again) shortly after and that’ll be the last time we see them. Love & Rockets seem to be doing well on the American festival scene though.
