I don't think I'll be approaching any current band members. I imagine that would not go over well at all with the Bunnymen management. I asked Will because I thought he might be a good sport. My aim is not to ruffle feathers. With the Noel interview, I saw value in asking him questions that he was probably never asked and it was fun to get a side of the story that may not have been told otherwise due to the whitewashing of that period.

Anyone not currently associated with the band however is fair game and it was a great idea to ask Drummond given his reputation for outrageousness. At least he bothered to respond respectfully.

It was very nice of Bill Drummond to respond to your query, and to say no in a nice yet diplomatic fashion. It sure beats being completely ignored....

You could interview Peter. I'm sure he has an interesting story. How he got hooked up with the band, etc. Does he get paid? Fun stories etc. What the band's vision is for their web presence, etc. He can't very well interview himself can he? So VT is the natural place for it. Just a thought.

UPDATE: OMG even better idea: interview IVAN. What is the real story, etc.

Not me. Brian emailed Will (through his Glide site) for an interview and he (to date) has gotten no response.

It helps to read these posts once in a while.
