I was surprised to find out that Peter Tork was such a whore/druggie? He seemed so............ wholesome.

Jonesy, Glen and Cookie are all more personable than Lydon, but Rotten is so riveting in that old footage. Wish I'd gotten a chance to see them back in the day, but was foiled by a blizzard. Damn

Peter Tork a whore??? I remember seeing a pic of him in either Tiger Beat or 16 magazine when I was about 10 or 11 and he was practically unrecognizable. A long beard and really long hair. And yet, there he was in reruns on TV, all clean cut

It was Mickey Dolenz and it was the golf course on Pico I think, by the studios if there's any stalkers so inclined. ++
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

in places at least, never mind the bollocks is an angry little album in a way the likes of the clash could never, and never did, achieve.

I have a book "The Story of a Hold Out" about one of my favorite musicians, Jackson Browne  . It's written by Rich Wiseman and it talks about the decadent lifestyles at the time in Laurel Canyon and how Jackson and Peter were very good friends and into a lot of ilovesausages  and gf swapping. If I was old enough at the time and hanging around Laurel Canyon it would be hard to decide between the two if given the option. I really hope no one from their pr camps ever reads this or I'll be in trouble. I know this kind of talk would NEVER be allowed on Jackson's site. Supposedly, he was very angry with the book's contents, even the flattering parts.

Have you read that book about the Laurel Canyon rock scene? Came out a year or two ago. I need to get it from the library some time. Same with Hammer of the Gods. Even if some of it's supposedly not true (or so says Robert Plant  )

Is "Hammer of the Gods" about LZ? I'll have to check that out. Yes, I did read "Laurel Canyon" and LZ is also mentioned hanging around that scene. There's photos of them with groupies too. Really, really young groupies
