Believe she still has a powerful voice. Mrs Ten saw her on the TV recently and said she still has it. I caught the recent Old Grey Whistle Test re runs with a clip of Elkie and Robert Palmer in Vinegar Joe. Was nothing like Pearls a Singer.

Believe she still has a powerful voice. Mrs Ten saw her on the TV recently and said she still has it. I caught the recent Old Grey Whistle Test re runs with a clip of Elkie and Robert Palmer in Vinegar Joe. Was nothing like Pearls a Singer.

We've seen her twice now and she blew me away both times, in fact this time was better than the last. The music isn't really my cup of tea but that voice man, that voice ... she does a few rockier numbers too which is good for me, a couple of hours of Lilac Wine style stuff would have me running for the hills.
