I'm glad to read that Les maintained his integrity and walked away, instead of just taking whatever money they were offering. Also, his devotion to his mother and his desire to spend her last days with her is very admirable.

I believe he relocated with his kids to Australia in 2014. Playing bass if that's him on LinkedIn. Fabulous.

My favorite song on that album is Fools Like Us.

Hard to believe it's been 19 years since it's been released.

Rust & Fools Like Us came from elements of Ribbons and Chains.
Lost on You is based on Birdy.

Doesn't bother me since the ones on this album are superior to the originals. It reminds me that some b-sides should probably just be kept in the vault.

Would agree with album version being better. A few years ago I got a copy of the "Lover Lover Lover" CD with Birdy & Ribbons and Chain. Threw me for a moment where had I heard these before


Would agree no duds on the album and whilst I love Fish Hook Girl I feel it would have upset the balance of the album. However Evergreen seems to have a balance between the hard and soft eg Altamont and Forgiven.
