IMO you get a decent view wherever you sit in the Phil unless you're up in the gods right at the back so I would argue it's not worth paying over the odds just to sit near the front.

Dr Cheese, I fully understand and respect your opinion. That's what a reasonable level-headed person should think.
My common sense must have flown out of the window when I was splashing out on a VIP package, but I'm still new enough to the Bunnyworld to get excited about things (didn't hear the boringly predictable setlist that many times yet, and so on).
I'll also be travelling from abroad to see them and will have all sorts of added expenses (visa fee, flights, etc.) - that's my idea of a holiday

unless you want to worship at the feet of the rock god that is mac, (and will of course), come on Cheesey! If MAc took the next step from occasionally talking to the audience and allowing, nay, encouraging singalongs, and took his short off like Morrissey does, we'd all be down there. WOUldn't we?

Perhaps I'm partly guilty of being infatuated with Mac , but the last thing I want is to see him do anything that Morrissey does.
