Just watching top of the pops 1984 on bbc4 and justbefore the start there was an ad for some up and coming french thriller type thing and it took me a mo to realise but the weirdi music was the nouvelle vague version of zimbo. Thats it. Late night friday......

I heard that as well, took me a few seconds to realise the shit vocal was a bunnymen classic. I almost woke Mrs bunnygod1 in disgust :eek:

i quite like that version, though the ethereal weirdy seems to tbe the 'go to' interpretation fro bunnymen stuff, which is why I Liked that guitar driven killing moon cover I put yo a bit ago.

'People are Strange' was on in Wilco in Holyhead the other day. The do a lovely bubble bath. :wink:
