can I be the first to say "new album"?

General discussion about the band, live shows, its recordings or bootlegs, etc. You can buy, sell or trade here. You can even post eBay links. If it's about the Bunnymen, it goes here.

can I be the first to say "new album"?

Well maybe not. Found the lyric book thing on their FB page and also this from the end of the tour:

echo and the bunnymen FB bloke wrote:All The Bunnymen band and crew are safe and sound back home - thanks to everyone who came out to see us play, thanks to Violent Femmes for being top chaps, thanks to Ester Drang for coming all that way to open for us, thanks to Ava Mendoza.
The Bunnymen are off to record some music for our new record label BMG.
See you all next time

Quite a few negative comments on at least one of the shows -generally moaning about them not having the big tellies so the peeps at the back can see Mac's nose running (he had a cold and a cough - they said something about coughing) and 'not being able to see their faces, haha. Though our old mate from here (? - maybe the other forum or maybe th emailing list - ah, happy days) Charles Pham posted a few piccies, one of his lady friend with the setlist,.

Anyways, you could see that for yourselves if you could be bothered, lol. BUt anyways, new music - are they going to go down the new road of meteorites or stick to the hit making formula?

Could be the best album since Meteorites.
Purveyor of the 'semi-predictable one-liner (which) embodies the essence of the type of comedic crap we grew to love here. VB is a crazy fool'
