Henley on Thames

Again a very stripped back but enjoyable show

The most vulnerable i have seen him reminiscing about his childhood and family, the theme for the New Bunny album out in 2018

Highlight was a rendition of Ocean Rain

Lot s of visitors from the USA, USSR and Holland

Mac in an affable mood handing out roses and chocolates to his legion of bunnygirls

Even disclosing the Hotel he was staying at, posing for photos and signing autographs after the show for those waiting in the cold.

I preferred couple of JD and cokes and some good company

Voice was shot to hell suffering fro a cough and sore throat.

Good Luck Madrid- Tonight

Yes both nights were great, I think the Saturday was just slightly better. He did Oceanrain at the end, made me cry. The whole weekend was lovely meeting old friends and some new ones - nice to meet you Shaz and Red

Ah yes those old rock 'n' roll staples of childhood and family, can't wait for those mid-tempo plodders and painful ballads.

I've been a mid-tempo plodder for years

So did a quick search on this and the pnly thing I found was this NME blog, which is not quite what I meant but you know - anyways not sure the bloke who wrote this understands, and he's never listened to Pictures of Lily, which seems to be about a significant part of growing up, or just me. As usual I haven't heard of half or more of em so can't really comment**. ALso doesn't mention parthenon drive - funny that.

** not that that usually stops me obviously.

Oh and this one

and that one by Van Morrison, not to mention hallf of Morrissey's output, oh woe is me etc. What was the word he pronounced wrong. Perhaps we could write - having done it so successfully before - the lyric for that.
