There was always some goofiness or humor with the Bunnymen, from their name to the videos to the lyrics at times. That's never bothered me. Lyrics don't always have to mean something or be so profound. Sometimes it's just fun.

Of course, but "THORN of CROWNS" (just to be clear!) actually has a great tune and I love the way it builds, drops and then builds again. Just a shame the lyrics didn't match.

I don't like It Was a Pleasure though it sounded really good on the tour where they did HUH and Crocodiles.
