Don't like the short versions of do it clean mid set. Do the proper version at the end, like it's meant to be.

I agree that "hate" is a pretty strong for this.
In my case I just preferred a live version over another or the studio over the live in another case. They are still good songs. As far as Do It Clean, I love the old live extended versions but it seems like that has been played out for a while.
Mac was doing something with Nothing Lasts Forever where he changed the chorus to "I want to play football for the coach" over and over. That never seemed to sound quite right.

He was at a loss when he couldn't sing "Raphael Benitez is the coach" anymore.
