Brilliant gig, Mac really on form, he's had a personality transplant !! Lots of audience interaction, clapping, letting the crowd sing, is this the same moody, drunk, angry sod we've had over the last decade ??
Will on fire as always, Kelly Stolz filled in great, the sound/lighting engineer got a thick ear from Mac for screwing something up in LLS !!
They were the band they should have been last night, the world would have been conquered on that form !

Going Up
Heads will Roll
Crocodiles
All that Jazz
Angels and Devils
Do It Clean
My Kingdom
In the Margins
Rust (Cut - screwed up intro Mac then said I don't wanna sing this anyway!)
Rescue
Bedbugs and Ballyhoo
Seven Seas
Bring on the Dancing Horses
Killing Moon
Lips Like Sugar
--------------------------
Nothing Lasts Forever
The Cutter
----------------------
Villiers Terrace
Ocean Rain

No, he's not turned into Jim Kerr yet.....he steps back and holds his hand out as in "your turn now" then a quick slash of the hand to shut up !

Think I must have lost a couple of pounds in sweat (plenty more to go though)!!

Made me think of an earlier review John Robb made for the the Meteorites gig in 2014:

http://louderthanwar.com/echo-and-the-bunnymen-manchester-ritz-live-review/

they paved the way for the stadium careers of U2 but never quite got that slice of action and remained undiminished and creative in a way that Bono could only dream of.
