This was shocking, shocking news. I thought Prince had mystical powers and was gonna live forever. Hell if tomorrow they said Prince rose from the dead I would have no problem believing it. Unfortunately I thought he lost the plot around 2000 or so and seemed a bit adrift musically but from the 70's through 1996 he was one of the most vital forces in music of all time. It's weird how influential he was yet nobody still sounds like him.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Saw him at Manchester a couple of years ago and he was brilliant. He seemed in great shape too. I was very surprised by this.
