Last Tango in Halifax

The missus turned me onto this show and I did a power viewing through two seasons. I loved the first season since it seemed very optimistic and based on making things right but Christ...the second season no one comes across as likable but again I couldn't stop till we got to the season finale. Looking forward to the third. I told the missus having watched the series and the locations I now want to move to the UK and start a compound for VT members to live. She said we could very easily move to London as there is a need for social workers. You will need to have your own golf clubs however I will cook breakfast and provide beer and wine.

Let's make this happen.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

VBs been on the pop again. I quite liked the first series but got bored in the second, though all the actors are good. Wotsername who turned lesbian (as you do), who used to be Raquel in coronation street was quite good in the police thing, Happy Valley. Just moved to the same neck of the woods as it happens, ought I be nervous?

I'm pretty sure you're all speaking English but I have no idea what I've just read.

Translation for our Atlantically challenged friends:

VBs been on the pop again - VB has been drinking copious amounts of alcohol with the previous incomprehensible posts being the obvious result.

Wotsername who turned lesbian (as you do), who used to be Raquel in coronation street - Raquel was a character in a dreary soap about the even drearier lives of dreary people in a grim suburb of Manchester, a grim city in the north of England.
http://coronationstreet.wikia.com/wiki/Raquel_Watts

Happy Valley - A recent televisualised drama about sinister events in a grim small town in the north of England http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b042r1dj

Just moved to the same neck of the woods - FC has relocated to the same area that Happy Valley was set in and is now concerned that he might be subjected to kidnap attempts and/or violent attacks by inbred, psychopathic locals.

You're welcome.

Basically Fat Cherry has moved house and is now worried that he might turn into a lesbian and start swigging from the furry cup a la the aforementioned barmaid. And Voodoo Billy is an alcoholic nut-job.
