Thoughts on if it's a good idea to see Ian solo at Leamington ?

It's not far from me. But last time I saw the Bunnymen I was very disappointed.

The solo tour has been well recieved at all the venues apart from Leeds i think. There is nobody on stage other than Mac unlike some previous "solo" gigs where he has had strings, keyboards, and guitarists most notably Ian brodie a couple of times. It is just Mac doing a completely stripped down concert, as KOK said on here almost "demo like" songs.
Go just don't talk during the songs or else!

I saw him this time round in Worthing - it was excellent, as it usually is - very different from with the Bunnymen. The only bad one I've been to was the Brighton one a few years ago when he was winding up some of the audience and then stomped off stage and flounced out. I'd definitely go if I lived nearby.
