Proper (LP) remasters ?

Postby lazarus » Mon Apr 06, 2015 1:20 pm

I was wondering what were the 'real' classic EATB vinyl albums remasters existing.

When i check out Discogs for Heaven Up here, by instance, it looks only the US 'MOFI' version (2010) is a remaster.

The expensive Hardback book Edition is 180g indeed but does not mention it's a remaster.

(see full pressings list http://www.discogs.com/Echo-And-The-Bun ... ster/27602)

Porcupine / Ocean Rain: no sign of a remaster version, strangely.

Is this possible there are (almost) none while plenty of CD remasters ?

I reckon the 180 gr repressings used the 2003 remasters, since they have the same track listing.

You're talking about HUH, I guess ?

But then, is it possible there are absolutely no (vinyl) remasters for Crocodiles, Porcupine and Ocean Rain ?

No, I'm talking about the Hardback Book Editions that use the same track listing as the 2003 CD remasters.

Oh I see.
Now I also notice that Ocean Rain does exist in a remastered version (blue vinyl). (http://www.discogs.com/Echo-The-Bunnyme ... se/5610816)
