Well, was it a joke from the start then ?
RSD lists are known, there are no EATB items this year.

God I love Billy and Dr. Cheese. In a total platonic way of course.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

agreed, I remember so much excitement about this album and tour.

I remember the air of excitement as well. Mac was in fine form (not blathering about Bono constantly) and Michael Lee was the second best Bunnymen drummer after Pete.

Other than Pete, the current drummer is the best drummer they've had! Michael Lee was a great drummer but not as suited to The Bunnymen as Nick Kilroe imo.

Damon Reece is the 2nd best drummer they had. They should've brought him back with they reformed although I think he was in Spiritualized at the time. Michael Lee fit what they were going for with Evergreen I guess.

I have to agree, went to see Poltergeist and Nick's drumming was sublime.

Yes he was already with Spiritualized, but I think he was briefly considered for Electrafixion back in '94, since the first NME news about them lists him as the drummer.
