Ok - three days to the Phil show - only one thing concerns me, and that is that it is seated...

Can we please at least think about standing up and moving to the front (a la Manchester 2012(?) - crap start to that gig due to seated crowd, excellent finish due to audience getting into it)

Come on - try to enjoy it!

Blown away by last night. Best bunnymen performance I've ever experienced. Mac was on absolute top form!!
So glad I didn't stick to my promise not to go see them again. Last night was stellar!

Did indeed, took half an hour to find a place to park but even had time for a quick pee before sitting down in my lovely comfy seat. great show, last two Phil shows are the best I've seen them, venue seems to bring out the best in Mac. Top, top show.

Agree with all comments above - excellent gig. Will was on fire - after seeing the Bunnymen last Summer during Meteorites tour I posted that I thought he looked a little disinterested. On Friday night he ripped the place apart with his playing and they all looked and played like they were enjoying themselves as much as the crowd were. Gordy using his guitar like a machine gun during the Cutter was typical of the fun they were all having

The band played like a band, rather than Will and Mac with some session boys. Mac actually introduced all the band members to the audience (wtf - never before!).

Great set, great playing by the band, great vocals from Mac (especially on Ocean Rain) and absolutely superb playing by Will.

On this form I would be tempted to go make the 250 mile round trip to Blackburn to see them in May (but fuck me - Blackburn???? Not sure even the Bunnymen make that a journey worth making???)

A 250 mile round trip? That's nothing considering who you get to see, especially after such a great performance as last Friday night. I wish I had been there.....

The philharmonic hall is a great venue, the sound was excellent, and not too much dry ice on the stage. Mac seemed in a good mood from the beginning, as did the rest of the band.
Mac's voice sounded as good as it has for a few years, must be the electronic cigarettes instead of the real thing
Hard to single out stand out tracks on the night it was so good, but Over the wall, cutter, constantinople, and a magnificent Ocean rain to end were excellent!
All so much better once nearly everybody decided to stand up, it really is borderline criminal to sit down to anything off Crocodiles!
The support act was pretty good as well, can not remember his name though.
