Baltic Fleet

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

I thought you meant the pub...
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

What pub do you think it might be?

i thought paul left the band to do his baltic fleet stuff, and they got a new keyboard guy... but every show up to the christmas gigs, and even the next 2 (liverpool capital of culture show and in spain) are listed on his concert calendar.... is paul back in the band? or did they just not like the other "new" guy?

curious...

funny you should mention that! i was looking at a book last night and my old 3-D map of Liverpool (that i found online when i was going to Lipa) fell out of it. years back i had marked off about 20 pubs i wanted to visit if i was near them. i made notes on a separate piece of paper whether they served food, real cider, and what the addresses were, etc. and as i looked over the list to see how many i'd been to over the years, i saw Baltic Fleet on there and said to myself - THAT'S why the name of Paul's band sounded so familiar! that's one of the ones i actually made it to on one of my earliest trips to Liverpool! (think i went there during the anniversary tour!) there was no one inside except a bunch of old geezers the day i was there! i take that map every time i go to Liverpool - i've almost made it thru the list!

i wonder what they did to it! (is it even finished yet?) hope they didn't change it and only did repairs or cleaning up, or something. looked great before and those old buildings should be preserved!

Maybe they are putting up a plaque - "Red was here"

On the subject of Baltic Fleet (the band) - got a 4 star review in this months Uncut.

I don't care what anyone says...Baltic Fleet is brilliant, pub, club, or "respected venue", it's genius!

Did not realize Baltic Fleet had a new cd in 2008. I like it a lot. Castellon Dress is a fav so far.

Some sons have very organic sounding drums others have the 808 feel like this one:
