John Lydon on PiL

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Bit like Mac's eh, 'lighting cues'.
Every word is like an unnecessary stain on silence and nothingness.

Yeah, that hissy fit act is getting old.

In the Boston shows, he tries to chat with the audience and asks how many go to Harvard before lapsing into an incomprehensible mumble. I've seen this so many times, it's not even worth a slight chuckle. It usually doesn't get any response from the rest of the crowd, either.

He needs a new comedy writer.

Dickhead....

I'm not sure Lydon was/is a complete hack. I would say that more applies to Malcolm MacLaren.
I long for the pork of Porcupine. (A slide show dedicated mostly to Will right here.... http://www.examiner.com/rock-music-in-l ... -here-tour)

The erstwhile Johnny Rotten sounds off on hating Radiohead, loving Donna Summer, and having his song played for the Queen of England

Video of PiL concert at the Cité de la Musique last night. Click on the yellow diamond thingy for the beginning of the show.

I feel the same way. Donna Summer's I Feel Love set the way for New Order. Lotus Flower is the first song since Creep I like. Do I get to be in the band?

But what a poor reason for hating on Radiohead. I've seen videos of Radiohead live and watched Worlds Collide where two memebers played with Neil Finn from Crowded House and those boys excellent musicians. And if anyone used electronic "trickery" it was Moroder for Donna Summer. Half the city I live in is stuck in the past because they can't accept that a computer can be used as an instrument. If I have to hear Brown Eyed Girl one more time, I am jumping on stage with a penny whistle.

And the guy sure had no problem touring with New Order.
