Glasgow Date

Postby Grumpy_Jimbo » Tue Aug 26, 2014 5:02 am

Just announced they are playing Glasgow O2 ABC on 27th Nov, should be interesting to see how well they get on as this will be their first headline Glasgow date since Mac's Royal Concert Hall meltdown !!!

Plus I assume they will probably do a Liverpool date around this time as well.......

If it wasn't a mid week concert, I might have gone to that one.... I quite fancy catching a show there, heard good things about the venue....

It's a cracking venue, been to a couple of gigs there! Richard Hawley was brilliant and obviously loved the place, was a great crowd too.

The Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, a seated venue for a proper show. Will dancing be allowed in the aisles?

Sad Bastard Alert - Liverpool Philharmonic 20th Feb

If you join the Phil as a "Member" (yep, euphemism intended) of the Priority Booking Scheme (£30) - you can buy tickets/select seats ahead of general release on Friday.

As a result of £112 hard earned shelled out (£30 membership ,£39.50 x 2 tickets plus inevitable booking fee...), me and Mrs Chunkyhair in front row...

..as I say, "Sad Bastard Alert"

BUT - having seen them on the Meteorites tour on first night at Leamington Spa, frankly, can't wait, and money well spent!

Not happy no Christmas gig in Liverpool, but next best thing....

See you there?!?

Don't want to annoy you, but I got front row too, without joining up.

Went for two tickets for the front row of the Grand Circle at the Phil, £73 all in, happy days. Shame there appears to be no Liverpool Christmas show, bit of a tradition now isn't it.

Wonder what the Setlist is going to be?

Changed from the Europe tour to the States tour.

Maybe they've got something up their sleeve? Not often that you see two major tours in one year for the Buns.

An early b-sides mini-set would be nice.
