Not listened to it for a few weeks, it's given way to Prince, Arcade Fire and some hot summer trance©. Can't beat a bangin' choon© on the way home from work.

You maybe able to but another copy second hand from some/one of the disgruntled listeners on here.
The problem with self improvement is knowing when to quit.

they do have iton the jukr box (its one of those internet jobbies) in my local pub. put meteorites (the song) on the other night just to annoy the locals, who responded with their usual 50 tracks of death metal bollocks. Bit ofan expensive way to listenm to it again though.

Latest Mojo - the one with jack white on the front, in the Q&A bit at the start where they ask celebs about their musical tatses, simon pegg in answer to 'what are you currently grooving to' says 'meteorites'. Also adds that 'in the worlds end there's a bit of dialog about someone dying in a motorbike accident' says that's 'for pete de freitas'.
Also, the free CD has a song from our man kelley's new album.

I was wondering the same thing. Barely listened to it since it came out myself, don't know why I have zero interest in it. Just too boring I think, too many recycled ideas and lyrics maybe. But it's not like the other recent albums were great either but I still listened to them a good bit, still do with some of the songs.

I listened to it on purpose the other day, some of the songs do get stuck in my head. I still think it's their best release overall for years. It is 10x better than The Fountain, that's for sure. I think I listed to that thing once and then one more time to make sure I wasn't being pranked.

One song that I like but a certain part drives me crazy is on "Is This A Breakdown" where Mac imitates a horn sound with his voice, bah da da da! bah da da da! It would be better if it was just horns.

I imagine a video for that song with an RAC driver seeing a car at the side of the road in the distance, hazards flashing in the pouring rain to the sound of 'Is this a breakdown', as he approaches he remembers he has a mars bar on the dashboard and opens the wrapper, turns the radio up and leaves the stranded motorist to the soundtrack of ' I don't think so'.
Heh Heh.

Do you think they'd earn more for the mars bar / rac product placement than for the record?
