Nicely put together as well, quality article.

It's great read only spoilt by old misery 's baffling comments. .

"I liked Blair Cunninghams drumming. He was quieter and i could hear my voice better. It made me realise I was the centre point of the Bunnymen"

Hey Mac the bunnymen is Mcculloch Sergeant Pattinson De Freitas
RIP Pete best drummer I've ever seen

Quite a good article as it happens, even if mac does use it as an excuse to big himself up a bit more and not appear deluded at all. Pete was sophisticated, he taught Les how to cook and Will how to shave. On seeing the picture of him naked with jonson (the phrase in itself raises an eyebrow) Mrs FC asked if he was gay. Not if all the stories I have heard are true I said, and anyway I said - pointing to jonson's (is that her names) barely concealed bosoms - what do you think they are - oh I didn't notice those she said but added that it wasn't necessarily a deciding factor. Also go something from Drummond - unles its just trawled from his other work. worth a read.

When he died and Mac failed to realize upon bringing back EATB the importance of the rhythm section to the band's sound, the band died with him.

Call what we have now Echo or The Bunnymen or BunnyMac - but keeping the same name when songwriting on what created the sound was a group effort to Come On Down To The Fish Market is false advertising.

Mrs F.C. obviously never saw The Bunnymen with Pete??? If she had, that thought would never have crossed her mind!!!
