Is that track on a CD anywhere?

Just the "Rust" CD Single. It's a shame it didn't make it on Crystal Days

"Avalanche" despite the murky production. I bet they could kill with that one live.

No one ever seems to like the album version with Ray Manzarek doing the Doors type keys.

Wasn't it in the liner notes of Crystal Days, even Mac says the original is better.

I bet this is a typical 'Newbie' thing to do, picking up a hundred year old thread and sticking in their tuppence worth, and you are all thinking - 'hey - that one died out years ago, we all got bored with it, bloody Newbies..,'

Sorry that my two posts today have the same theme, but I'm feeling evangelical about this -

Do me a favour will you?

Listen to Porcupine (just the track for now) really load,

Converted?

You are welcome.

typical newbie, revive a 100 year old thread and not even answer the question properly and then feel smug about it

Err - what was the question??

Ah yes - essential Bunnymen song.

Answer - Porcupine.

I guess you were wanting an elaboration on that? - like 'I couldn't live without it' or perhaps something more poetic.., It's the highest amount of despair I could ever imagine being expressed in only one song, I find in beguiling and ultimately uplifting - my own very special memento mori.

Of course if you look at my very first post today you will see how ironic 'I couldn't live without it' is.

If you were looking for answers to questions - then the originator of this thread should have been taken to task..,

Probably Bring on the Dancing Horses 12 inch version
It wouldn't work if Mac was a slaphead would it.

Cutter live but favourite track of all time has almost always been Turquoise Days, sums up the Bunnymen for me.
Purveyor of the 'semi-predictable one-liner (which) embodies the essence of the type of comedic crap we grew to love here. VB is a crazy fool'

I've been thinking about this everyday for 6 and a half years. I hope to have an answer soon.
