Is Ian smoking E-cigarettes these days? Not sure what he's puffing at the beginning of the video. Here in Colorado when I see someone puffing on an E-device it can be only one of two things. Yes, he does sound good, and they are all performing splendidly! I can't wait until August.

Looks like he is sneakily smoking real cigarettes when he's in Paris.

My first Bunnymen gig and I was hugely impressed. Judging by videos from throughout the 2000s, Mac's voice is well and truly back and he's attempting high notes that he hasn't done for quite a while.

Giving up the drink seems to have made him happier in general as well and he was in great form, interacting with the crowd and involving them regularly. At one point he talked about what a nice few days he'd had in Paris leading up to the gig and I blurted out 'except for Liverpool'. Without missing a beat he swung around and said 'Oh... tres witty' in a mock French accent (think he thought I was French and taking the piss, but I'm Irish and a lifelong red) before talking about how Liverpool were still top and saying'where the fook are Paris Saint Germain?' with a smile. At one point, he attempted to kick an empty plastic cup off stage only to hit will in the head, but it they just smiled and he raised his hand apologetically in a funny moment.

The crowd was great too and were really into it and even gave the new ones a very respectful reception. After the band first went off stage, they sustained a huge applause the whole way through until they returned - haven't seen that too many times and you could tell the band felt genuinely appreciated.

All of the old ones were great and at least half the new ones sounded good in a live settings. Nothing ever lasts forever turned into a long medley including 'Walk on the Wild Side' and 'Wait til the Midnight Hour'. Lips like Sugar was also a medley and a snatch of 'Market Town' was played in that. Ocean Rain as the closer was magnificent.

Overall if the band continued this form, it would be a shame to miss them.

Maybe he was recreating the dressing room scene between Alex Ferguson and David Beckham?

He's still at it with those plastic cups. Then he moans when somebody throws him a can...

Alhambra venue forbids smoking so he went for E-cigs.
The day after in Antwerp, he was smoking for real. Stephen (bass) was smoking E-cigs though.
