It's a bit early to be on the ale isn't it?
And you know that I'll pick up
Every time you call
Just to thank you one more time

Just phoned Les and had a long conversation with him.

He just laughs at the Bunnymen and is glad he's not part of it.

There are no more polterguiest projects at the moment.

He wants to sell his boat and go on holiday and spend the rest on bring up his kids.

all the restoration work on the boat was done by him

he promised to give me loads of white lables and early posters

KOK, you fucking weird, stalking bastard. What will happen when he gets the restraining order like the rest of the Bunnymen did last time you didn't get your free gear?

When they told us 20 years ago Les was retiring to restore boats, I pictured him with wooden seafaring vessels, like the Mayflower. Now I find out it he's been spending his time on a fiberglass speed boat.

That they go down to the sea in ships...

"The deck was taken back to bare wood, stained the Riva way, then 18 coats of 2K UV varnish applied"

You can slag the Bunnymen off all you like, but leave Les' boat building skills out of it, have a read up, that is one fine boat.

It is a fine looking boat. I'm sure it would swim the seven seas so well.
