I'm just waiting for the first review from here!

1. They played 3 new songs
2. Mac pulled some shapes
3. They played Zimbo/ Over The Wall
4. All the usual songs were there
5. Sounded good.

My first ever Bunnymen concert. Can't wait. Just hope Mac's walkout the other night doesn't affect his performance in this one, because it sounds like he was in good shape otherwise.

Half-expecting/hoping that they might play Ocean Rain in its entirety as it'll be the closest show to the album's 30th anniversary (which is today) and in the city where it was recorded.

The Republique area is quite interesting. Had never been there until today. Un Americana in the house this eve. (Will not be the one who throws a beer can). :)

The show this eve was incredible. Hope Kounelaki and Froggy think the same. I liked all of the new songs sans Constantinople. Think they did about 5 or so? The Parisian crowd was awesome. So much different from American, SA and English. Really enjoyed it a ton. Hope they are all on form for the rest of the gigs.
Ace night out.

P.S. Ocean rain was the best I've ever heard it. No strings and all that needed. Really hope someone got that on camera (as annoying as those things are).

It was a very good show. Mac on much better form than the last time they were in town. Did not have kind words for Brenda and namechecked Everton, VB. If memory serves, the set list was more or less the same as in LS, but Crocodiles instead of All that Jazz and added Ocean Rain at the end. (People were taking photographs of the set list, maybe one of them will be along.)

Bedbugs, Will's playing on Silver and Ocean Rain were some of the highlights for me.

Throwing a can of beer vs singing Happy Birthday: bien joué les Parisiens!
