Barton may be all the things you say, but he really drew me in and has (American) friends into futbol educating me about the game and the players.

You would be amazed how the game is growing stateside. We may have a decent national team in 20 years. Or it may be a decent team that doesn't have much competition in their division.

Good points - neither is Barton and he is a thug - but he says this about himself.
