So if she knocked at your door asking for some hard rocking plastic action you'd slam it in her face eh?

The door that is.

Now I know where Hollands went wrong
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

FtB and I added our our Wii console numbers to our sigs. I don't have any games yet that can be played with remote players but feel free to add me to your address book on your Wii.

You make your Wii avatars ( a Mii) on the Wii but I recreated mine here and saved the pic for my forum avatar: http://www.miieditor.com/

Target had the console in their weekend ad for $250. Wii Sports always comes with the console. Usually they go fast. I highly doubt any Target has them anymore but you might get lucky.

WalMart has the bundle that you pick 6 games for $677. One of the games, Wii Play comes with a remote. You definitely want at least one extra remote. Some times this is a good deal because you can pick the games you want or popular ones and then return them unopened or sell them and get some money back. Big downside is that you have to go into a Walmart and give them your money.

ToysRUs has a prepackaged bundle for $450 I think. Can't pick games and it all rings up together so you can't return them individually, but you might be able to sell them on Craigslist.

GameStop sometimes has refurbed ones for $225. You have to go in and ask. They won't tell you over the phone. They would rather sell to someone that walks in and it will sell and they won't have to hold it.

Google "wii tracker" too. People setup tracking system to see when stores near you have them. Itrackr.com is a popular one.

They sell out fast, so you have to act quick. i got very very lucky with Craigslist. Good luck!

thanks brian, i'll have a look at the tracking and stuff... it's just annoying when you log onto ebay or craigslist and see SO MANY that people are selling for rip-off prices, just because they can.

Not to be a party-pooper, but the fact that you can never find these things in the store means that the retail price is too low.

Wait till you get to Raining Blood! And as for Through The fire And The Flames - I've just had another go at it - 77% on medium and booed off! It's impossible I tell you. It's a good job it comes at the end of the game and you don't need to complete it to progress.

chris informed me that he just won an ebay auction (about 20 mins ago) for a nintendo wii with wii play for $365 (incl shipping) so now we just need another nunchuck controller and some games!!! it says 2-6 day delivery, so here's hoping it gets here by the weekend... (and hoping no missiles hit the UPS truck).

i definitely want guitar hero, and i am thinking about zelda or mario too. but i don't wanna go overboard right away... we're big dorks. any recommendations from you new wii owners of what to get first??

YAY happy dance
