It's cold, cold Constantinople

The Fountain is sounding better and better.

The chorus in Constantinople sounds just like another song, I think it's another new Bunnymen song, maybe Siberia but I don't think it's that. The guitar at the end sounds like something off Porcupine.

I thought Will wrote most of the music on Crocodiles and Mac wrote the lyrics. Plus there's some good shit on Curvature of the Earth so Will can write music.

Those clips are my worst nightmare. Nothing horrific just pleasant songs that leave little impression and just melt into one another. Lovers on the Run still is the standout for me but man I was hoping for more.

Well what can I say ?

Are you the same person you was thirty years ago

Do you like the same things you did thirty years ago

Are you still with the same partner you was with thirty years ago

Do you still have the same job you had thirty years ago

Exactly we evolve and change sometiimes for the better and somtimes for the worse.

We can't realistically expect the Bunnymen to have the same composure and sound that they genertated 30 - 35 years ago.

Although it would be nice, are we not guilty of trying to recapture our youth

But saying that thier out put since Evergreen has been crap and the style has not changed.

Its just unexciting unenspiring drivvel.

The Bunnymen were great because they were a band. Now its just a job and a job that they do not like.

I predict that this will be the last ever LP that they do.

Such a sad way to go.

If they'd split again after Evergreen the myth and legend would still be intact, as it is with every sub-standard release since it just gets diluted further. Mac continually rewriting history doesn't help either.

It is ok to change as a band, look at some big acts like the Rolling Stones or Pink Floyd as examples. They have been through many incarnations.

I just want a quality album again, not some rushed half baked release. I want it to sound good for what it is. I don't think that is too much to ask.

He's doing fine thanks. He loves the new Bunnymen clips.

Close. Wire mesh, some stitches that form the shape of the Bunnygod and what looks like glue.

I like that MAC started this thread - clever one Mr. Mcculloch...I knew you'd be lurking to hear what the gallery had to say about your latest stink bomb. If you can hire Will to play on your pseudo-bunnymen albums - then CHEERS to the lad who suggested Will hire you to sing on his prog rock Glide or Poltergeist albums. Seems like a fair trade sir. Eventually the fans will win one.

I refer you to my list Mr. Mccullloch - for more shellacking. Is Rick Rubin available to put some balls back into Ian Mcculloch, outlaw? The man needs to be rescued from himself. I think there are some loo doors need kicking in...
