Well if you're gonna get all picky on us
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

While I'm at it, "Icarus", "I Loved the Devil" and "Constantinople" sound like they could be from an Iron Maiden album.

Holy Moses is awful even for Mac's standards of late. Lovers on the Run I also like. Also share your Youth's concern, but who knows, might work well with the material. Really disappointed to read the album is another Mac solo output in disguise.

indeed, market town and i loved the devil, is he channeling richard thomson with a bit of AC/DC thrown in. we ought to try and guess some to the word play involved in market town.

I'm gonna mark it down (down, down, don't look down)
with a mark-ed frown (down down)
in the market town (town town)
Dont look down
In the market town (down town)

I think he should throw ib the rubberised refrain from scissors in the sand too. Still, a rose by any other name and all that.
I'm too old to hold my breath for two months. I'm going to lie down in a dark room.

Well the last album, the bassist didn't even play, think Gourdie did the Bass, so at least everyone is involved.

I quite like Holy Moses, Lovers is better though, as it reminds me of some of stuff off Porcupine, a faster version of Higher Hell.

Perhaps Will's involved on the Musical side more, and Mac's doing the lyrics and coming up with the initial ideas. Live it sounded like Will was a bit more involved than the Fountain stuff. I'd reckon it'll sound between Evergreen and Siberia.

the last track will be a soppy ballad though.

According to the man himself he's hardly involved at all these days.

Asked to describe the new Bunnymen Album, Will Sergeant said that he was still working on that!
