Agreed, That "Meedlin" thing was awful. I like this name better.

That must be the case, I don't think this the cover proper. An ill-shaped meteorite composed of mainly muscovite grains doesn't make sense.

After all my bitching I am glad to see some progress...

1). Like the cover.
2). Glad to see the name change.
3). Bunnymen and Meteorite fonts don't match + suck, yes - but Ill get over it.

Now can someone deliver the track listing? Any insight from Will on this one?

Or does "Pledge" Music say it all?

The cover art looks like one of those old lady cluster rings that you see at the flea markets. That or some kid just blew up a bunch of pixels. Not much effort put into that part. Meteorites are 'solid pieces of debris.' Hopefully the album doesn't follow suit. I actually liked the 'In the Garden' title. Was a little more mysterious.

oo the last one without a piccie of will or mac was flowers - is that a good omen? Or is this actually, as someone suggested, will and mac. I'm more worried by those two somngs they did at christmas, sounded like more jingly jangly crap with croaky croaky over the top. we're all doomed I fear. But maybe not.

We''ll find out on the 28th April

Eleven studio albums later, the band’s loyal and ever growing following is showing no signs of abating. Their new album is due for release on the 28 April and this concert will see them performing the new material live for the first time, along with a fine selection of their classic tracks

So the "new material" consists of two songs does it?

I must admit I am feeling a little more excited about the new one having seen the cover and the new title. I heard one song live on YouTube and it was good so these are all good signs for me.

I think as long as they play, so long as they're good, 4 or 5 songs on tour of new album material that would show they actually care. The last time they properly played a good selection was Flowers, I think 7 or 8 got played from that.

correctamundo, as fonzerelli might say. I was also - obviously just looking for something to moan about - going to say something about one word titles, but then remembered porcupine, crocodiles and evergreen.
