Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks

I've always been fond of Pavement, but I don't know how I feel about this yet.

The album opener, "Dragonfly Pie" has a great 1969 psychedelic garage rock groove to it.

What do you all think?

I've always liked Pavement and I've heard some Stephen Malkmus stuff in the past that was pretty good. This album is getting great reviews. I'll have to check this out when I get home. I'm at work right now so I can't get the streaming.

I'm getting into it - love Gardenia
I found the last couple of SM + Jicks albums a bit heavy going but this seems a bit more immediate and lighter. Will keep going...
