I quite like "Lovers on the Run" or at least the live version I've heard. Will's guitar exudes a bit of mystery and Mac sounds likes he rockin' out a bit vocally which is never a bad thing. Of course it'll be a mid-tempo over polished turd of a ballad on the album so there is that.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Why does Ian always wear his glasses now? Does he have any eyesight left? God gave him the best eyes ever and he covers them. What a tease.

Tedious aren't I. God I didn't even know this site existed. I'm so glad I found it. It feels good to know I'm not alone in my obsession.

If you're expecting a Bunnymen fan site, you'll soon be sorely disappointed.

We are a fan site, we are just hyper critical of the modern Bunnymen. This forum was actually born out of the banning of dissent on the official forum. Collectively I think we all love the golden years through Electrafixion and then the reformation in 1997. After that it gets spotty.

I think we have been let down so many times it is what we have come to expect.
I liked Flowers at first and most fans seemed to but it didn't stand the test of time. Even Will recollected that it doesn't sound finished or called it a dud or something like that. The live shows were good around this time too.
Then we got excited about Siberia being some great return to form. Instead we got a couple of good songs and Mac's voice went really downhill around this time. The shows were hit and miss but mostly miss.
It got better for the Ocean Rain shows.
Then the Fountain. Oh dear God The Fountain. I don't think I need to go on.

Ocean Rain New York. Three of the best days ever.
