I'm always happy about a new EATB release, however it would be most helpful of them to show a track listing. Admitidly my EATB collection goes from the self titled CD (1987) on up. That being the case, should I purchase this one? Thanks!

I understand from your post that you haven't got crocodiles, heaven up here, porcupine and ocean rain. I'd get them before you get anything else. They are pure class, every song.

I'd even go as far as to say buy the first four, and maybe Siberia, and leave the rest.

You really need the first 4. Those are the golden years. If you can only get one, get Ocean Rain. If you want a sample of the first 4, get Songs To Learn and Sing. Almost everyone I knew in the late 80s had that greatest hits album that covers the first 4 releases.

To my knowlege no one had heard any tracks off the forthcoming album but , I believe the speculation is that this album will be closer to The Fountain (2009) or his last solo album Pro Patria Mori (2012) than post Evergreen (1997) albums. I see no reason to doubt this.

Crystal days is a nice box set with some essential tracks; for example, broke my neck, fuel, the subject, angels and devils, and some great live recordings like do it clean at the royal albert hall. These songs were not even on the first four albums but are all bunnymen classics, miles better than anything done after 1984.

I'd splash out on crystal days. It includes an excellent booklet as well.
It's a bit expensive on amazon (£40) but still worth it in my book. The collection of songs are unbeatable, by anyone.

Definitely, Crystal Days is well worth the investment and you can pick up the first five albums in that 'Original Albums' slipcase thingy for around £12-£15, you should be able to get both these sets for less than 35 quid if you shop around which is a pretty good all round introduction to the Bunnymen.
